Zoe’s Bio
Passionate about storytelling through performance, Zoe found her purpose on the stage and in front of the camera. Originally from Birmingham Alabama, Zoe fell in love with performing on the stages of Red Mountain Theatre where she began her training in performing arts.
Grateful for all her performing opportunities, Zoe has played roles such as Cinderella in Cinderella, Anna in Frozen, Jr., Delilah McPhee in Between the Lines, and Jane Banks in Mary Poppins. She has also had supporting and co-starring roles for film and television.
Currently a sophomore at Tufts University, Zoe is double-majoring in Theatre Performance Studies and Ancient World History. Having performed in six musicals at Tufts, she is currently working on her seventh, Cabaret!
Hoping to make performing arts accessible to those without theatre in their community, during COVID she volunteered as a tutor with underserved children from Birmingham inner-city schools where she also created a “page-to-stage” project where she raised money to purchase Wizard of Oz chapter books for 2nd-5th graders. They read the book together and she took them to see the Wizard of Oz musical to see the story come to life and expose them to the magic of theatre.
Realizing it makes the performing arts more meaningful, she enjoys giving back to the arts community by mentoring kids and helping them develop performing arts skills, acceptance, confidence, and empathy while fostering a love for theatre. She has recently worked summer theatre camps at Red Mountain Theatre and Tufts Children’s Theater being both a facilitator and teacher.
